Xtreme Tea
Xtreme Tea by Xtreme Gardening is a tea brew kit easy to use. The use of Xtreme Tea compost tea improves nutrient uptake, increases availability of them, in addition to enhance microbial life in substrate. Xtreme Tea enhances the growth and flowering of plants, being very easy to revitalize soil, and improve nutrient uptake of salts locked down in susbtrate.
In each sqft of substrate coexist thousands of millions of active microbes that create a comunity of alive organisms in roots and surrounding the,. The soil food web is based in a corvesion of energy and nutrients between microbes. When these organisms decompose complex materials, or consume other organisms, available nutrients are created for plants, and for other alive organisms of substrate. While high quantities of liquid fertilizers and synthetics can be harmful for life in substrate, introducing alive microbes derived from compost helps rebuilding the soil food web in substrate.
Xtreme tea brews are easy to use, quick and effective as they add life to soil. Xtreme Tea can be used as instant extraction, or as tea brew.If we proceed to direct application of tea in substrate it is only needed to water plants arround the base of the plant once per week so the root zone can quickly uptake nutrients. The use of Xtreme Tea will make your plants grow stronger and quicker.
Preparing Xtreme Tea compost tea
To brew your tea with Xtreme Tea we need a clean bucket (depending on the amount of tea we pretend producing it should be bigger or smaller), an air pump and an air stone. *Even though it is not essential, a water pump can be added to the system to improve flow of nutrient solution preparing the tea.
1.- Fill the bucket with fresh water (it is a must to use RO water (which contains no chlorine nor chloramides). Keep water temperature between 16ºC and 21ºC.
2.- Place the Xtreme Tea nylon tea brew bag in water. Add to water the content of Activator food pak.
3.- Connect the air pump to the air stone and place the air stone at the bottom of the bucket. Keep the solution properly oxygenated for 48h.
Quantities to brew Xtream Tea:
11L-18L of water: Add 1 bag Xtreme Tea (80g) + Content of 1 Activador Food Pak.
56L of water: Add 3 bags Xtreme Tea (80g/each) + Content of 3 Activador Food Pak.
How to quick brew Xtream Tea
In a 12-18 liter bucket add 1 bag of Xtreme Tea 80g, squeeze and rapidly massage brew pouch for 60-90 seconds to help seep material into water (it is recommended to use waterproof gloves when handling material in water). Add the content of 1 Activator food pak and stir the solution until well mixed. Apply inmediately.
Apply Xtreme Tea compost tea
Mix the solution from compost tea in water in a 1:4 ratio (1 liter of solution per 4 liters of RO water) and proceed to watering plants. The maximum dillution of this tea is 1:10 (1 liter of solution per 10 liters of water).
In hydroponic systems use the tea 24 hours before changing the water fo your reservoir (it is not recommended to use the tea in hydroponics systems for longer periods than 24 hours). Add 4-8 liters of Xtreme Tea concentrate in 40 liters of nutrient solution. Xtreme Tea can be used along all stages of grow and bloom including the last week previous to harvest.
*Once the tea compost has been brewed and used it is a must to clean and disinfect the bucket. Use antibacterial soap, bleach (2%) or Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2). Once the bucket is cleant rinse the bucket thoroughly.
Content of each Xtreme Tea kit:
800g: 10 bags Xtreme Tea (80g) + 10 Activator food pak.
7kg: 14 bags Xtreme Tea (500g) + 14 Activator food pak.
