SAD CBD seeds are a cross of the popular Sweet Seeds' Sweet Afgani Delicious with a clone from the Diesel family (CBD rich). SAD CBD marijuana has a less psycoactive effect, characteristic from strains with high levels of CBD, what makes it ideal for tokers who look for a remedy for their pain, thanks to a THC:CBD ratio that can reach 1:3.
After many years selling indica, sativa an autoflowering strains, at Sweet Seeds they decided to start developing strains with high cannabidiol levels. This compound of cannabis also known as CBD, has been used in many studies, demonstrating that has a high medical potential.
A common characteristic of CBD rich strains is its less psicoactive effect (studies also demonstrated that CBD can block THC effects).
For this first release, Sweet Seeds has used their elite clone of Black Domina (used to breed S.A.D. Sweet Afgani Delicious) and crossed it with a Diesel selection, with high CBD levels.
SAD CBD cannabis plants are not too tall, finishing its flowering time in about 8-9 weeks, with final yields arround 400-550 g/sqm (indoors) and up to 375-600 g/plant outdoors (being ready to harvest at late September.
While S.A.D. CBD effect is relaxing, the flavour is sweet, with spicy and woody tones.
The structure of the plants creates a huge main cola, surrounded by side-branches that will help bringing great results no matter indoors our outdoors.
