Instructions for pH Electrode Cleaning Solution Usage:

Submerge the electrode in a glass filled with the cleaning solution, making sure to completely cover the electrode tip. For remote electrodes, position the electrode at the end of the pH meter or probe. Let it soak overnight. Then, rinse with clean water and dry with a dry cloth. Repeat this process once a month. Keep the electrode submerged in the maintenance solution.

Storage:

After each measurement, it is important to rinse the electrode with distilled water and store it properly. You can place it in the electrode cap or a container, ensuring that the electrode remains moistened with a storage solution. You can use a KCl 3.5M-based solution or, alternatively, a pH 4 buffer. Avoid using damp cotton or any objects that may touch the electrode bulb, as it can easily damage it.

Deep Cleaning:

In cases where the electrode requires more intensive cleaning, such as when measuring wastewater or highly colored samples, it is recommended to use a 0.1% hydrochloric acid cleaning solution. Submerge the electrode tip in this solution for at least 15 minutes for effective cleaning.
