how hot will one of this run? do i need to have air extractor for vegging?

Hello Joao, Air extraction is always needed. Not only to help extracting the heat form the lights, also because plants breather and they need fresh air to keep developing healthy. In the case of CFL, they don't warm up too much the place, but if you don't set up any extraction method you'll end up having problems with heat anyways. Our recommendation is to use an in-line extractor (maybe a 125mm-150mm diameter is enough. Best wishes!
