1- Size: The main advatage of Gavita Pro 1000e DE Slim Line is its compact size, that allows growers to safe space when installing them. By many growers is known that distance lamp-canopy is crucial to guarantee optimal light levels sourced to plants.

In growrooms with low ceilings every centimeter is crucial, so saving vertical space used by the fixture is a great advantage. This difference could condition the use, or not, of the best growlight in market.

Gavita has got to optimize the size from their Slim Line, manufacturing a ballast that only has 24,6 cm height, without compromizing quality nor efficiency.

2- New connection interface: Another advatage of Gavita Slim Series is the new interface developed by Gavita, with a double connection that repeats the input signal, allowing to connect up to 100 fixtures, and up to 5 strings per port controller (what derives in up to 500 fixtures per port).

3- Replace reflector: Gavita reflectors are manufactured to be easily replaced. High reflectivity materials are tough to clean, and even when you clean them they never look like new, loosing a lot of their reflection capacity. Gavita recommends replacing the reflector once per year, in dirty spaces, or every two years in clean enviroments.

4- Non mobile parts: Gavita Slim Series ballasts are completelly sealed, and passive cooled, within extrusion aluminium housing. This housing gets an optimized thermal management, what helps electronics to much cooler. The proper thermal control has been a target, as it is related to the life and functioning of the fixture.

In growrooms with 4 fixtures or more, it is recommended to spread them a bit, so each one can cover a surface of 1,5 x 1,5 meters.

In growrooms over 10 fixtures, our tip is to place fixtures to cover a surface of 2m x 1,5m.

The rule behind these calculatuins is higher the amount of fixtures, more proffitable light you'll get (as small loses from each fixture will add each other, helping to get an overall good amount of light.
