It has soft start technology that extends the life of the lamps and the ability to start several ballasts at the same time. In case of overheating, it incorporates an automatic shutdown function. Its absence of fan replaced by a design of cooling fins, makes this Ballast a completely silent device while it is in operation. Also to increase its resistance to high temperatures the compact PVC casing helps to protect its high quality components. The 4-stage dimmable X-Lite ballast can be perfectly compatible with other Caluma products.
