As it has happened with other classic strains from Sensi Seeds catalogue, this late 2017, this seedbank introduces some new strains to their Redux collection, bringing out to market the feminized version of some of their popular seeds.
This California Indica feminized is born from a hybrids Orange Bud from California, crossed with an Afghani Hash Plant. This genetic mix sources growers with plants that have a quick flowering time, large yields, with a spicy taste and orange aroma, together with a stimulant buzz.
The breeding project done by Sensi begins with an Orange Bud, a strain with sativa characteristics, crossed with a Northern Lights #1 x Hash Plant hybrid, that reduces the flowering period, increasing also the density of the flowers, and its resin production. Besides these characteristics, the offspring asures a sweeter and fruitier taste, and a more stimulant effect compared with parentals.
California Indica plants show a high hybrid vigourosity, produces large plants, and good side-branching. This strain is highly resitant, with an indica side that sets a growing path, and flowering period. Indoors, this is a strain that can be grown easily, thanks to grower's control over light photoperiods, being possible to enlarge vegetative stage (when working with less amount of plants), or flipping them faster to flower (when working with larger number of plants).
Along the transition vegetative stage > flowering stage, California Indica cannabis plants will double their size, with an indica type of stretch, finishing their flowering period in about 7-8 weeks.
California Indica buds are large, dense, and covered with good amount of resin, giving a top-grade look, taste and flavour. The flowers have an orange appeal 8thanks to the color of the pystils. In cases where temperatures are lower than usual, some individuals can show out some pink pystil tendency.
Even though California Indica plants don't produce a dense smell, it is recommended to use carbon filters, to avoid anoying your neighbours.
Talking about consumption, California Indica marijuana is interesting for two factors: Due to the quality of its terpenes (no matter the format used to consume: smoke, vaporized or in eddible-form), and also for its soft effect, blend of indica and sativa: a ludic mind buzz, that makes it suitable for recreative tokers.
