SantYerbasi Grow Shop Crew, as in previous editions, headed to Gijón to participate in the 3rd Asturcannabis Cannabis Cup (now known as The Weedkend), to enjoy of a relaxed weekend in the north of Spain, with Picos de Europa as background.

The Weekend 2017
To explain the goods of this third edition of Weedkend, we can not forget about the organization of this event, done by a Cannabis Users Association group (CISCA: Cannabis Interior Social Club Astur). This group of users has horked hard for years for cannabis legalization, besides educating users about consumption, and medical use of this amazing plant.
The first edition of Asturcannabis was in 2015 (in which SantYerbasi got some prizes) and ever since this event has been growing with more booths, public, conferences, and samples introduced to the cup. In this 2017 edition of Weedkend, we could assist to education comferences, cannabis activism, debates, art competitions, and some recreational offers during all weekend.
Placed in "El Jardin Disco" The Weedkend had a great outdoor area, and also an indoor area, both with many activities programmed, in addition to some cananbis companies like Green House Seeds, BioTabs, Delicious Seeds, Hortitec... Assistants could see in person some of the newest products, listening to good music, watching some graffiti demonstration, or a break-dance show.
As a scientific spot, our friends of Geobiopharma set a booth where they showed a demonstration of mollecular cooking - certainly a great show. We could also enjoy some cocktails prepared with cannabis, that helped to cool down the temps during the hot weekend.
