The cultivation of cannabis marijuana outside arrivals to month of August begins to show signs of beginning of flowering. In principle our geographical position may slightly alter the dates we describe but if more will not help all those who are in their first crop.
From a genetic indicates it has been sown between February and May, one would expect that the plant was growing until late July, and we arrived at the first or second week of August began to flourish.
For this early sativa flowering is usually delayed until early / mid September.
In either case once started flowering plant (not to be confused with pre-sampling phase female flowers should be in mid / late June) will take into account the data that gives us the seed bank that we purchased usually expressed in weeks of flowering to know approximately what day will be collected. We say approximately because as we mentioned, depending on our position and hours of light received, the plant can alter levente expectations.
The method when proceeding with each espécies is the same, varying the time. We detail
The growth fertilizer should be used throughout the growth process during the transition to flowering and growth (in lower doses) in its flowering stage. The use of fertilizers in the vegetative phase growth assures a vigorous growth while maintaining the demands of the plant under control.
When the time comes where the plant shows signs of florar start and it would be advisable to continue using a growth fertilizer for a week and thereafter added to the mixture in small doses a subscription for flowering. The mixture of both in their appropriate doses start flowering foster a strong and healthy. The explanation of why using them is simple: Our plant continues to demand high doses of growth fertilizer because it is a large plant and is also starting to bloom thus giving adequate nutritional need samples to encourage large and compact flowers. Remember: Do not pretend enticed to plant the first day with a high dose. The plant is beginning its flowering cycle, now do not need large quantities. Dosifícate!
This process can start between early August and mid-September according to genetics, but if we treat each in its own way not ensure the best overall performance in addition to individually.
Using the example of an Indica growth fertilizer probably add to the mixture until the second week of August, from there we would begin to reduce the amount of fertilizer to compensate growth also adding fertilizer of flowering. This period should last until early September where we decrease the dose of growth, now used increasing doses of fertilizer flowering. This is to keep a small amount of growth fertilizer together until the end to ensure non yellowing of leaves plus get big buds.
As data say that nutritional needs are something to be controlled with the use of fertilizers for each phase. Of course, never be discouraged the use of additives that promote root growth or flower formation in conjunction with these. Note: The use of stimulants without a base fertilizer plants can result in worse shape. Think about it: on one hand we are saying to the plant flowers and do not give you the other nutrients to feed ... We could say that we are drowning for wanting too.
If the steps are correct, and all went well with our index in mid-September and can completely cancel the contribution of growth fertilizer to the mix to be used to fund the flowering (and if adding stimulators) to end September. Once there we control the days to the court with reference to two main factors:
1 º. - As is maturing our plant and therefore how long it will take to reach its optimum cut (approx. 80-90% of brown hairs)
2nd. - As presented the weather forecast for the coming days. (Going to rain? Shall cloudy? Do sun?)
Why are they important these parameters? We know that marijuana needs a wash (wash understand the final process of the plant in which we want to pull away from all the nutrients have been added so that once dry is as palatable as possible). The washing of a plant grown with organic manures should be around 10-15 days whereas if we used mineral fertilizers would be better to wash for 3 weeks.
The washing process is simple: You do not drown the plants in a rain water, simply meet the relevant risks though, now without adding absolutely no nutrients to irrigation water. If we do well, in a few days our plants begin to show a lack of nutrients yellowing leaves. Detail: Products such as enzymes can be helpful to break down fertilizer residues accumulated in the substrate, especially if you have used mineral fertilizers.
After 10-15 days, and if the rain has not made an appearance, we can proceed to cut the plants completely or in part according to taste. One grower told us how he had cleaned 15 days, cut the tips grow more made to leave the rest a few days. His technique was as follows: 15 days of water without nutrients, cutting tips, pay with a credit back to bloom once or twice to let more water 10 days alone and cut all the rest. The farmer told us improving their production due to this technique: "dry small buds had not been anything now are small but chewy and well trained."
Once cut, starts the hardest time for cannabis grower: bear harvest untouched until completely dry! Ideally cut day in tights proceed to hang drying or drying type strings to facilitate uniform drying and aeration. A proper drying can make a big difference between two buds from the same source therefore interests us: That our freshly cut buds not dry nor too fast nor too slow. Ideally, it took about 15 days to dry (very important: it is better to dry slower than fast, if our marijuana dries too quickly the flavor will be adversely affected). Take reference medium sized branch: The day breaking that branch is cracked is starting to get ready. At that point it would be advisable to introduce them into glass jars leaving them open five minutes a day to breathe. After 15 days / 1 month glass jars our buds will be at its best for generarnos a smile. 🙂
Now we have described the process and the above theory we will use us in practice. Examples of bio fertilizer will because we believe they are the best choice for self-cultivation:
- Flowering Biological Fertilizers:
Bio Bloom: Good value for money. Biobizz is one of the most widespread brands in the cannabis industry and that speaks of its results. Your doses ranging from 2-5 ml / liter. * Highly recommended combined use with Top Max and Bioheaven.
Bio Flowers: Canna is one of the most concerned about their customers and that in no case is bad for their growers. They offer a very good product at a reasonable price. Doses between 2-4ml/litro. * Highly recommended the combined use of Bio Boost alternating with Cannazym.
Iguana Juice Bloom: The Iguana is probably one of the best fertilizers on the market thanks to its composition rich in humus seaweed and fish. Good for the guys at Advanced Nutrients! Dose of 3.5 ml / liter. Shame about the price, what good is paying ... * Recommended combined use with Organic B and Nirvana.
- Solid organic fertilizers (granular or powder):
Bat Guano: Bat guano is rich in phosphorus and potassium, two minerals required by plants in bloom. Is very concentrated and easily applied by sprinkling the surface of the earth. Recommended interval between applications 7-10days.
If the application of either fertilizer together with its promoters will generate large flowers, now we have to think where dry: Probably one of the best ideas to save space are the drying mesh. They are available in small or large extent.
