Manufactured by the same company that popularized vaporizers with their Volcano (we will talk about this one later), this engineering masterpiece gets the best vape quality experience, using superior quality elements. Some of the Mighty vaporizer features are: temperature set up possibilities, good autonomy (it has two batteries), and cannabis flowers (and resins) ready. You can disassemble it to clean it. The brand also offers the Mighty Wear and tear Set. If a negative point exists maybe is its price (the highest from all listed here), but it's fully argued by its quality, by being manufactured in Germany, and by two years of warranty given by manufacturer.
Crafty vaporizer: Also manufactured by Storz & Bickel, Crafty is the little brother from Mighty. In this model the goal was to get a handheld vaporizer with the smaller size possible. To get that purpose the LCD screen has been removed, as well as the temperature setting buttons, and one of the two batteries included in Mighty. The compact size of Crafty doesn't prevent it to allow temperature adjust (in this case you set it within a free app and then matching your cellphone with Crafty). Crafty is also a versatile vaporizer allowing you to vaporize dried flowers and resin extracts (oils and resins), for a lower price than Mighty. Perhaps the only negative point we find its the shorten life of the batteries (due to having an unique battery unit instead of the two Mighty has). Crafty allows you to keep vaporizing non-stop for about an hour, so it won't be rare the need to recharge more than once a day.
Ascent vaporizer: DaVinci Ascent gets the bronze medal in our classification of portable best cannabis vaporizers in 2016. The vaping quality is more than correct, being able to change the vaporizing temperature easily, and thanks, partially in its aspirating tube made in methacrylate. With a price 100€ lower than Mighty, the Ascent is a good quality vaporizer if our budget doesn't arrive to more expensive ones. Against it we can argue that the filling chamber is not easy fill/empty. It can be used to vaporize extracts, but then you'll need to buy the extraction kit and add it to the base price. The battery has a life of about 1,3 hours vaping and the size is comparable with a cellphone.
Magic Flight: Magic Flight Launch Box is the most surprising vaporizer ever. This compact vaporizer, without claims, nor adjustable vaping temperature, gets a HIGH QUALITY vaping experience, for price of about 100€ (the cheapest from all listed here, representing the half of an Ascent and a third of a Mighty). This is a real compact-sized vaporizer, with a woody body (available in different woods). Against Magic Flight we only notice 3 aspects: The aspiring tube is made in crystal, so it is easy to brake if it falls (spare parts are sold) and batteries have a short life (includes 2, but we recommend to buy other 2 to have a full day autonomy). The third aspect makes reference to its versatility, because Magic Flight is only thought for cannabis vaping. If we want to vape resin extracts, we should buy a Magic Flight Muad-Dib (model to do so).
Best cannabis vaporizer for home use 2016
If we are sure we will only vape at home, and we don't want to depend on the battery charge of our vaporizer, our best option is choosing a vaporizer for home use. The main advantage of these type of vaporizers is that are connected to an electrical plug to work. At the same time this is their worst inconvenient, and that's why we only recommend this option if you are 100% sure you'll never need your vaporizer away from home. Another of the advantages of not using batteries is a long-life of the unit (batteries have a life, once they've been recharged certain times, you'll be forced to replace them for new ones to keep using the vaporizer.
Said this lets come to the point: What are the best cannabis vaporizers for home use?
Volcano vaporizer: A vaporizer comparative that doesn't include Volcano is a foolish one. This vaporizer, with years on its back, is considered by most the best cannabis vaporizer, and the reference when talking about high quality standards. It has all, temperature setting control, unbeatable design, functionality (can be used for dried flowers and also resin extracts) and vaping quality, in addition to a neverending spare parts available for a long life use. Available in two models: With Digital or Analog temperature controller.
Plenty vaporizer: Another Storz & Bickel vaporizer that appears in this list, why should it be? In our opinion this German company, is not a step beyond, they are light years beyond other companies! A proof of this is this Plenty, that equals performance and quality of a Volcano, being smaller, and without needing to use bags to inhale vapes. More than this, the price is 100€ lower than Volcano's, keeping the same functionality and temperature control. Its compact size makes it easier to transport it. If Plenty has a bad point maybe it's the industrial appearance, far away from the rad design of a Volcano.
Arizer Extreme Q vaporizer: We wanted to include the Extreme Q from Arizer due to the vape quality it brings. This vaporizer allows you to set up the desired temperature (shown in its LCD Screen). Even the quality of compound is not the same as we find in previous vaporizers, this is a good option quality/price. Maybe its worst feature is when we need to clean it, and the weakness of some of its pieces (specially the crystal parts, that can be easily broken). Another negative point is the aspiring tube (made in plastic) that doesn't match our quality expectations in a priced vaporizer.
Conclusion of best cannabis vaporizers 2016
As we said before, the most important decision before investing in a vaporizer is knowing the use we'll give it (portable or home use). Our experience tell us that portable vaporizers are better option as they allow you to do whatever. If we had to choose one, probably we'll get the Mighty due to its superior quality. If our budget is not as high, or we're looking for something more compact-sized, Magic Flight would be a great option. IF our choice is a vaporizer for home use our recommendation is Plenty. Has the best quality/price ratio in market, with a high quality compounds that asures a long life happy vaping experience.

What temperature should we use when vaping?
There are two key factors that affect when choosing the right temperature to vaporize cannabis: Taste and effect.
In both cases vaping temperature is a key factor in user's experience. Lower the temperature is better the taste we'll get, with a more high type effect, while higher the temperature set, worst taste, and more stoney effect.
Recommended vaping temperature is between 160ºC and 200ºC, being the most used one between 180ºC and 200ºC. Temperatures closer to 180ºC will bring more terpenes (more taste), while temperatures closer to 200ºC will bring a relaxing effect, that will help us sleep.
Our tip is to use a 180ºC temperature along the day, and 190ºC at nightime before going to sleep.
